1. Do you build all types of extensions to all types of property?
Yes. Whether the property is terraced, semi detached, detached, or commercial we can offer an extension solution that will maximise usage of the land available to meet your requirements. Although the most common extensions we build are single storey side return and rear extensions, we have also overseen a number of double storey rear and side extensions. All options can be discussed at a consultation.
2. Can you help me design and budget for my extension?
Yes. All you have to do is tell us what you want out of the extra space, be it a kitchen/diner, utility room or living space, and we will come up with an extension that will meet those needs. It is important to be realistic about budgets on all projects, and we will aim to produce the most competitive prices, whilst taking into account all of your requirements.
3. Will I need planning permission, and will you help me if I do?
Many extensions will require planning consent from your local authority. But don’t worry about that. Once we’ve designed the extension, we will arrange submission of drawings and forms, and take care of all associated liaison with the local authority on your behalf, to maximise the chances of approval.
4. How long will it take to complete my extension?
The construction time for extensions varies in accordance with the size and finish. Generally, for a single storey side return extension, up to a builder’s finish (with no internal finishing), work will take approximately 6-8 weeks.
5. Can we see an extension you’ve already completed?
Yes. We will be more than happy for you to visit one of our sites.
6. Are your works guaranteed?
Yes. Upon completion of the work, you will be given a 2 year workmanship guarantee. As members of the federation of master builders we abide and follow by their guidelines, and have been vetted accordingly.
